Listen to your body, and you will be healed

God created us in His image and likeness and has given us the power to heal ourselves.

Listen to your body. Most illnesses are not meant to be treated but listened to. A headache may reveal a lack of sleep. A tummy ache may be due to overeating. Back pain can be caused by prolonged seating. When patients address the root cause rather than the symptom, they become the doctor.

The Seven Doctors of the Body:

1. Dr. Sleep. Sleep reduces stress, lowers cholesterol, stabilizes one's sugar levels, releases growth hormones, renews the cells and heals infection.
2. Dr. Breath. Diaphragmatic, where the abdomen rises as you inhale and lowers as you exhale, is the proper way of breathing. Do the 5-5-5 breathing technique to promote healing.
3. Dr. Drink. Good hydration is essential for proper circulation of the nutrients in the body. The recommended amount of water per individual is 50mL per kilogram weight.
4. Dr. Food. Fruitify your breakfast and veggify your lunch and dinner for a healthier you. Eat fruits for instant source of energy to start the day
5. Dr. Sun. Man loses his rhythm and gets depressed when not exposed to the sun. It is recommended to bask in the sun 15-30 minutes per day especially during sunrise and sunset.
6. Dr. Move. Take 10,000 steps per day to stay fit. Use your muscles. What you don't use, you lose.
7. Dr. Green. Immerse yourself in a natural environment to bring down your stress level .Peace and healing comes when exposed to nature. Breathing in phytoncides, or airborne chemicals that plants and trees give off, strengthen our immune system.

God is our Healer, the Divine Physician. If we follow Him, we can be whole again.
